It took some time to get this realised, but two years ago we decided to give Christine a family gathering as a gift for Christmas. The weather was perfect, the location was perfect and we all enjoyed a wonderful time together with some hikes, running around the lake and some really good food – with the world famous Gulasch from Christine on day one and a perfect BBQ prepared by Flo the Grillmeister!!
The whole family moved into the Hagan Lodge, with a perfect view from there to the Loser – a picturesque mountain in Styria.
After everyone arrived during the course of Friday, we just had a great Dinner together and then the whole night with a lot of chitchatting and laughter.
The next day we decided to go for a hike on the Loser. We did underestimate the amount of snow still up there. Therefore the hike was a bit shorter than expected, but the views from up there were absolutely fantastic…
After a short lunch we decided to go for the second work out of the day – running around the lake… We knew what was on the plan for dinner, this had to be deserved.
Then it was time for some BBQ´ing…
Meanwhile the oldest and the youngest of the boys of the Clan had some great fun…
After a wonderful evening with good fun and great food we slept in the next day for a late breakfast. After the breakfast it was already time to depart from a great weekend in even greater company.
